This is a lyrical comedy kept in the convention of “Czech” humor. The absurd story of great love. Fifty-year-old hero, a lifeless loser and unlucky, decides once in a lifetime to dare and make a heroic act. He abducts his work colleague (in which he is in love from childhood) to free her from her primitive husband and start a new life with her.
When he takes her to his aunt’s empty house, he realizes what he has actually done. And then the abducted friend encourages him and maintains in the conviction that his act was right and deeply human. It does not change the fact, however, that she will face both her husband and her husband.
Play won the competition of the Association of Authors ZAiKS and WFDiF for a dramatic piece for TEATROTEKA.
